We have added the “Battle of the Build” this year to our Home & Outdoor Show. Area High Schools will compete by planning and building a project and then presenting their completed entry at our Show to judges from the building industry across the State of Tennessee. Students will be on site to explain their project and answer questions to the public. All projects displayed will be available for silent auction with ALL of the proceeds going back to the participating school. JCAHBA builder members will act as mentors to their assigned school during the process and will be present with the students during Show hours. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places based on the 5 categories; presentation, build quality, finish quality, creativity, and complexity.
Friday, February 16, 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Saturday, February 17, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Sunday, February 18, 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
